Lost water is lost utility revenue. Water audits identify and quantify water use and losses from a water system by giving a reasonable, accurate accounting of all water entering and leaving a system. The video features the eleven main elements of water audit methodology established in AWWA’s M36 Manual of Practice and discusses the roles that metering, pressure, and leak detection play in minimizing water loss in a distribution system.
